Background
The term “Microfinance” is used to describe financial services such as loans, savings, fund transfers, insurance, etc., to start-ups, small businesses, and individuals who lack access to traditional banking services.
SaveForward is a young micro-finance company whose main goal is to lend money conveniently and instantly through a mobile app. It also encourages people to spend less and lend more.
Design Process
Our design process consists of these main steps: Inception Sheet, Mood Board, Style Tiles, and Style Guide. Through these steps, we are able to smoothly transition from Mid-Fi’s to Hi-Fis.
The concept of the inception sheet is to serve as a tool reflecting innovative ideas in the form of a visual language.

Our client already gave us an idea about what colors they would like to see in their app design. Since it was more about being "Blue" I decided to explore different shades of blue and came up with a few.

Hi-Fi Design
After receiving Mid-Fi's from the UX team, I started exploring & decided to introduce some sort of background to make our design stand out. After implementing illustration into the app and abstract background we can finally see our app in live colors and made sure all the colors pass the accessibility guidelines.
